Pg 82

In lesson 7 we leaed about determiners and quantifiers . at first I would like to give you a short explanation of what are these . determiners are words such as articles , demonstratives and possessives which we use for identifying. We use quantifiers for quantities , countable and uncountable . and in the 8 lesson we studied pronouns substitution and ellipsis . pronouns are used instead of noun and noun phrases . ellipsis is when we don’t want to repeat the same nouns , verbs , … .

Sometimes when we are making a sentence we want to show a contrast between what has happened and What is going to . so we use that or those for the first situation and this or these for the second one. Possessive pronouns are used instead of nouns but possessive determiners are used before nouns. Similar to determiners quantifiers are used before nouns or like pronouns instead of nouns which we use when we talk about numbers and amounts . we any instead of some for the sole reason that we have negative element in our sentence. What is the difference of whole and whole of ? we use whole between determiners and singular nouns but whole of before determiners and pronouns. Each is used for talking about 2 or more thigs separately but every is used for two or more things together. when we want to compare we use more and most instead of much and many. Personal pronouns are I, me ,they , them .generic pronouns are you , we , one , they . and possessive pronouns are mine , theirs , … . demonstrative pronouns are this , these , that , those . indefinite pronouns are someone , something , etc . reflexive pronouns are myself and themselves , etc . reciprocal pronouns are each other and one another . instead of repeating countable nouns we use one or ones .

Class is fun and enjoyable but writing e-jouals is very hard.
